01

Sending and replies are different stages

A sent status is not a job offer or read receipt. Check sending history in IsteGit and replies in Gmail. Note any review timeline published by the company.

02

Avoid repeating the same application

Record the company and role for each application. Review previous communication before deciding about a new vacancy. IsteGit protects against duplicate applications for the same user and company.

03

Set time for a regular review

Review useful search terms, the CV version used and missing documents. Improve the next application with brief notes. Do not infer a reason or outcome from the absence of a reply.

04

Sent does not mean accepted

A sending record shows that the sending service accepted the email; it does not prove the employer read or accepted the application. Check replies and delivery failure notices in Gmail. Follow the company’s stated timeline before a follow-up and avoid same-day repeats. Verify the company, meeting link and time zone when an invitation arrives and record your notes.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

Apply it to your preparation.

  • I recorded the latest stage and sending date of each application.
  • Response, interview and next-step notes are up to date.
  • I check history before unnecessary repeated sends to the same company.

Now work on your application.
