01

Prepare a short introduction

Practise explaining your role, relevant experience and interest in about a minute. Use three key points rather than memorising a script. Confirm the interview language from the invitation.

02

Choose three real examples

Choose examples of solving a problem, working in a team and learning. Explain the situation, your action and the result. For an unsuccessful outcome, describe what you would change.

03

Prepare your own questions

Ask about initial expectations, team structure and daily work. For online interviews, test audio, camera and internet beforehand. Record the date and time zone clearly in your calendar.

04

Practise concise answers aloud

Prepare notes for your introduction, why you want the role and one problem you solved. Explain situation, task, action and result; start with a one-minute answer and add detail when asked. Describe your language level accurately. Check microphone, camera, connection and time zone before online interviews. Prepare questions about the team, initial responsibilities and next steps.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

Apply it to your preparation.
